Adopting a family living in the slums of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  Our families are mostly single mothers and grandmothers struggling to feed their children and to provide them with the bare basics of life—shelter, blanket, clothing, shoes, etc. You can make a transformative difference in the lives of these desperate families. By choosing to donate only $70 a month, you help lift them out of poverty and improve their living conditions in concrete ways:

  • Provide essential funds for food, clothing, and medical care.

  • Support home repairs such as rethatching roofs, adding tarps, and reinforcing walls for safer shelter, especially during the rainy season.

  • Supply beds and mattresses so families no longer must sleep on bare floors.

  • Contribute to children’s education by covering the cost of uniforms, school fees, and supplies.

  • Help transport children to and from schools located great distances from their neighborhood.
