Our New Ministry Home
We are delighted to share some exciting news in this edition of “Hope in Action.” After months of searching and prayer, God’s Love in Action has found a new home for our ministry in Addis Ababa! With a limited budget and the need for a safe, accessible location close to the families we serve, the search was challenging. Yet, last month, the Lord provided the perfect space—leased from a gracious Muslim family—demonstrating how God works across boundaries for His purposes. This new building will serve not only as our worship center but also as the gathering place for our weekly Bible studies on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are no longer crowded into a one-room home; now, more than 50 families have space to come together and grow in faith.
God’s faithfulness was evident in another unexpected way just days after securing the building. A generous U.S. donor, unaware of our immediate needs, sent a gift that covered the purchase of 70 chairs and the rental of a sound system. Thanks to this provision, we held our first worship gathering in the new space two Sundays ago, welcoming a guest speaker and worship leader. The joy and gratitude in the room were palpable as we celebrated this new chapter. We are now prayerfully seeking a small adjacent space for an office and a dedicated worship area for the children. We invite you to continue praying with us as we expand our reach and deepen our impact among the families in Addis Ababa’s most vulnerable communities.
